1)Operation Steps
Power on your Passat B8 and ensure the VOYEEGO ambient light kit is properly installed
Open the APP and navigate to the Search tab.
The APP will automatically detect your ATW-B8 dedicated device; tap to pair and start controlling.
2)Common Troubleshooting
Can’t find the device? Restart your phone’s Bluetooth and the car’s power, then re-search
Connection drops? Return to the Search tab and re-pair the device.

Classified by light effect type, with 8 major categories, all effects support one-click switching:
①Illusion
Illusion: Dreamy flowing light effect, presenting a gradient flowing visual sense
Light: Soft breathing light effect, slow alternating brightness and darkness for a soothing atmosphere
Breathe: Standard breathing mode, lights cycle brightness and darkness at a fixed rhythm
②Streamer
Streamer: Classic running streamer, lights illuminate sequentially in a fixed direction
Closing: Converging streamer, lights gather from both sides to the middle
Optical: Optical flowing water effect, simulating the visual sense of high-speed light shuttle
Pull Curtain: Curtain-pulling effect, lights expand/retract section by section like a curtain
Table tennis: Table tennis shuttle effect, lights flow back and forth at both ends
CTL: CTL custom streamer, supports personalized parameter adjustment
Magic: Magic changing effect, lights randomly change flow trajectory
Meteor: Meteor effect, simulating the dynamic light and shadow of meteors passing by

Colorful: Colorful trailing, multi-color gradient trailing streamer
Single: Single-color trailing, fixed single-color trailing effect

Spectrum: Spectrum rhythm, lights show spectrum jumping effect with music rhythm
Stretch: Stretch rhythm, lights dynamically stretch with music intensity
Optical: Optical rhythm, lights show optical jumping with music

Beam: Beam rhythm, simulating the effect of beams following music rhythm

Sync: Full light synchronization, all car ambient lights run synchronously with the same color and effect

2)Effect Toggle
Provides 6 preset effect gears from 01 to 06, allowing quick switching of different light combination schemes without manual adjustment one by one.
3)Flow Direction
Positive: Forward flow, lights run in the default direction (e.g., left to right, front to back)
Reverse: Reverse flow, lights run in the opposite direction of forward flow
4)Speed
Adjust the running speed of the dynamic light effect through the slider. The current gear is 3, supporting 0-10 gear custom adjustment. The larger the value, the faster the light flow/change speed
6. Light Tab
1)3-Tier Brightness Sliders
Global: Master control for all 29 light zones in the cabin (0 = off, 9 = max brightness), sync all lights with one tap
Disk 1: Independent brightness control for the front cockpit zone (dashboard, front doors, center console), no impact on other areas
Disk 2: Independent brightness control for the rear cabin zone (footwells, rear doors, door handles), no impact on other areas
2)Brightness Partitioning Mode
Up And Down: Split zones into upper (dashboard/door tops) and lower (footwells/door bottoms) for separate brightness adjustment
Front And Back: Split zones into front (driver/passenger area) and rear (passenger area) for separate brightness adjustment
3)Night Bri Decrease Level
Function Logic: When enabled, the ambient lights will automatically dim when your Passat B8’s headlights turn on, reducing eye fatigue and improving safety
Level Difference (01-05): The higher the level, the greater the brightness reduction

4)Control Method
Original Car + Phone
Dual control enabled: Adjust all advanced features (zone control, dynamic effects, active safety) via APP, and control basic functions (brightness, color, modes) via OEM MMI/navigation display
Both controls sync in real time: use the car screen for safe adjustment while driving, and the APP for fancy effects when parked
Force Phone
Only APP control is active; the OEM MMI screen’s ambient light options are locked. Use only if you prefer full phone control
5)Ambient Light Master Switch
OFF: Turn off all ambient lights completely
ON: Keep all ambient lights on with current settings
AUTO: Automatically turn lights on/off with vehicle ignition, convenient and worry-free
7.Setting Tab
1)MIC Sensitivity
Adjust the sensitivity of the ambient light's built-in microphone for music rhythm mode. The slider ranges from 0-9. Higher sensitivity makes the light more responsive to sound.
2)Rhythm Sound Source
Select the input source for the music rhythm effect:
Built-in microphone: Use the APP's built-in microphone to pick up car audio, compatible with all car models
Original car horn: Connect to the original car's audio system for more accurate rhythm capture
3)Welcome
Configure the welcome light effect when unlocking the car:
①Switch
ON: Enable the welcome light effect when unlocking the car
OFF: Disable the welcome light effect
②Mode
Center: Welcome light only lights up the central control area
Door: Welcome light only lights up the door panel area
Door&color: Welcome light with door panel + color gradient effect
Four-Door Sync 1/2/3: 3 different 4-door synchronized welcome light animation schemes

4)Active Switch:Passat B8 Ambient Light Active Functions
Volkswagen Passat B8 fully supports 6 active lighting linkage functions:
①Door Alert: Flashes red when a door is opened
②Radar Alert: Flashes red when an obstacle is detected while reversing
③Speeding Alert: Flashes red when vehicle speed exceeds 120km/h
④Turn Signal Alert: Flashes synchronously with the turn signal
⑤AC Linkage: Turns red when AC temperature rises, blue when lowered
⑥Blind Spot Alert: Flashes on the corresponding side (Not supported on Passat B8)
