Most of the time, we prefer to control interior ambient lighting through the car screen because it comes as an in-built feature in cars. However, app-based control offer more fun than oem screen control. Especially you’ve got the new ambient lighting kit installed now. More colors and modes customized options allow us to DIY a unique car interior atmosphere. Moreover, it’s super easy to get your phone to the ambient lighting controller box via phone bluetooth. Just follow the instructions below and you will achieve a fantastic car interior ambience.
APP Control Car Type
When we upgrade car interior with a new ambient lighting kit, we need to know how it can be controlled. Most of the dedicated car ambient lighting kit from VOYEEGO can be controlled by the mobile APP, except for some OEM types for Mercedes. The pictures below display most of the car types that can be controlled by the app. Check the list to ensure that the installed ambient lighting kit supports app control.

Name of the Ambient Lighting Control APP
The APP is named “AmbientLight”.

How to Download the VOYEEGO Ambient Lighting Control App?
For the IOS system:
Go to the App store, search for “AmbientLight”, and then download.
For the Android system:
Scan the QR code to get the apk and then download it.

Usage Instructions
It’s easy and convenient to start mobile app control, only requiring a wireless connection via bluetooth. Here are two steps to check before using the app control smoothly. Firstly, make sure the ambient lighting is already installed and all components are connected. Second, check the phone’s location settings and bluetooth access for the “Ambientlight” app.
Connection
Turn on the bluetooth on your mobile phone.
Open the “AmbientLight” app.
Click “search” at the bottom to enter the search page and then click the “search” button above.
Find the device starting with ATW and click on it to get a connection.
Connection is done.

Turning the Ambient Lighting On/Off
Go to “light” at the bottom to reach the light & switch page
In the “Switch” section, click “OFF” to turn off the ambient lighting; click “ON” to switch on; click “AUTO” to synchronize with the headlights.

Adjust Brightness
Go to “light” - “light & switch” - “bright”.
There are “up and down” adjustment. Drag “Global 6” to change all lighting. “Disk 1” is for dashboard, doors, door storage boxes. “Disk 2” is for footwell and door handles.
Choose “Night Halving” to reduce the brightness for night driving.

Changing to Single Colors
Click “color” at the bottom and then choose “Sync RGB” in the “Mode adjustment” to start the single-color mode.
Go to “RGB” and you will get 3 parts: color, mode and speed.

“Global” is for all lighting. “Disk 1” is for dash & door & door storage box lighting. “Disk 2” is for the footwell and door handle lighting.
There are 64 RGB color options. Drag the button to change colors.
There are 15 common colors for quick switching.

There are 6 modes for single-color state.
Customize colors to keep your preferable one(up to 8). Click “custom color” and then tap the color box to add color. Click “clear custom color table” to delete all custom colors.
If you turn on music rhythm mode, the lighting synchronizes with the music melody.
The speed can be adjusted up to 10. The speed setting can be applied in breathe, gradient, strobe, automatic and rhythm modes.
Changing to Mixed Colors
Click “color” to go resorted color setting page. Here, only the rainbow kit works; The RGB kit doesn’t.
There are 5 types of mixed colors with flowing effect to choose from. They are illusion, rhythm, colorful, dazzle and light.
Each type can be customized for the running effect. Each mode has 6 kinds of effects, up to 8 custom colors positions, length and intervals.
The lighting running direction can be switch between positive and reverse.
You can also change the flowing speed. Speed up by increasing the value.

Welcome mode
Go to “Setting” - “Welcome” section. Only the rainbow kit has welcome mode.
You can turn on or off welcome mode by clicking “ON” or “OFF”.
Choose the direction of starting.
Select the color of welcome mode lighting.

Warning system
Go to “Setting” - “Active” section. It’s a warning system indicating door open, A/C temperature change, turn signal on, etc.
The warning system is only available for some cars. Different cars supports different actions among door, radar, speed, signal and air. Please contact our team if you need the available list.
Tap “ON” or “OFF” to turn on or off corresponding functions.

Voice control
Voice control is an optional function. By saying command “hello light” to activate the voice control state. There are different commands for switching. Click voice control command to check all commands.
Factory Settings
Click “About” - “Factory Setting” - input password “1688” - click “OK” to enter factory setting section.
The “Dail” section is used for coding and illumination. Each car type has corresponding numbers for coding.

The “OTA” section is used for update. Click on it only when our engineer indicates that an update is required.
